T Minus 11 Hours...
The day has finally arrived. After months of planning... stressing... dreaming... researching itineraries, transportation and accommodations... cleaning out... selling the cars, all our furniture and just a ridiculous amount of stuff, oh and not to mention our house, it is time to start our journey.
Oh Dunwoody, you will surely be missed. Driving away from our beloved home was tough indeed, and even some tears were shed. It was the perfect life that we all loved, and I could not have imagined a better place to call home. So many things to be thankful for - From our wonderful neighborhood community.. to the girls' school and teachers and staff... but most of all, the many special friendships our family had made in just five short years.
We've had one week of non-stop activity, prior to our departure. Visiting with family.. catching up with old friends, chatting about our travel plans... consuming an insane amount of delicious home-cooked meals.. playing/ arguing/ chasing/ and frolicking around with cousins and other sweet friends.. and not to mention Elyse turning 8!! It has been an action packed week filled with lots of laughter (and whining, of course!).
