Granada is GREAT!

Hi back again with another blog post! Granada was amazing! I loved it. We arrived by a car.  When we got to the apartment, we were greeted by a very nice, kind, girl that was helping work out the renting thing. She offered us some cookies and and some water. Then she explained everything we needed to know, like where grocery stores were and where the best places to eat were.

She just sat around with us and then she started to play the guitar (along with the kazoo)! She is really good at it. Oh yeah did I tell you she has the cutest dog ever named Poker. He never barks and he is super cute even though he is a big dog.

                                         The Alhambra

When we went to Granada we saw an amazing
castle called the Alhambra. We could see it from our front porch of the apartment.

At night it was super pretty and it lit all up.

Then on the last day of staying in Granada, we went to the castle early in the morning. Thats when people said it was the best time to visit it because then it was cool, in the afternoons and late morning it was hot.

It was an easy walk from our apartment to the entrance but it was not an easy walk up to the entrance to the top of the castle it was a big long up hill walk but when we got to the top it was the most amazing view of Granada!

Watch the clip below to see our amazing hike to the Alhambra. Okay one of the reasons it was such a hard hike was because it was on top of a huge mountain. Yeah.

                                    Bertie and Poker

Now I am going to tell you all about Bertie and Poker. First of all I am going to say that Poker is the cute dog I was talking about and Bertie is the nice kind lady. Lets start with Bertie, and guess what, you would not believe this! Bertie traveled the world just like us for 3 years on her bike with her boyfriend! Can you believe that! So cool! She is very talented! She writes books, plays two different types of instruments and sings! She is from Germany and she can speak German, a little bit of English, and a little bit of Spanish too. I have never met anybody as talented as her! Okay and here is the crazy part! She babysat us on the last night! It was so fun! We made books and took poker on a walk and we also played boardgames!  Then for dinner she made this amazingly cooked from scratch veggie lasagna! It was the best lasagna I ever had in by life! She picked the veggies from her own garden. Here is a secret. We interviewed Bertie! Yeah on the first day we did it. Oh right! On the second day, we had a hose/water fight! It was so fun! We got completely soaked but we did not mind! Anyways, Granda is defiantly one of the places I would love to live in! Bye!
