6 Months of Traveling the World!

 Okay, is it just me, or are we halfway through our one year trip, that’s..... CRAZY!!! 

 It felt like just yesterday we were climbing our tree in our school uniforms. That was great but I have to admit, traveling's awesome too. 

 Sometime I wish we were at home with our friends and going to school, but trust me when we get home I am seriously going to wish we were traveling together again. 

 We have been on so many plane rides that I know the whole step process. Check in, immigration, security, gate, wait, board, departure, land, immigration, bag pick up, taxi/Uber, apartment. (NOT including waiting in lines). 


 We take almost every transportation there is, buses, Grab, Uber, taxi, metro, plane, train, Tuk-tuk, bike, and more. 








We have stayed in both hotels and mostly Airbnb, so I have one favorite hotel and three favorite Airbnb. 

 My favorite Airbnb’s were, Split in Croatia, Sevilla in Spain, and Krabi in Thailand. 
My favorite hotel was in Vietnam. 

 We have done and learned a lot so far with school. We learned to say hello and other phrases in many languages. I learned long division, I learned adding fractions, multiplying fractions, dividing fractions, subtracting fractions, a bunch of things. And I’ve read a million books. 
It’s going to be hard getting back to schedule, <3

Hello NYC!!

Day 1: We arrive in New York! Wow, are we so tired. We just came off a plane flight from Denver and had to wake up at 4:30 to make the shuttle ride to the airport. It is 10:00 AM right now because of time change so we are going to get some lunch because we are SO hungry (and tired).  So we check into our hotel room which is barely big enough to fit us and take a quick shower. Then we go exploring! We walk to a restaurant that my mom had planned before, which happened to be about 45 minutes away, but New York is fun to explore so we of course just walk.  My mom told us along the walk that we were going to this restaurant called “Stardust.” So apparently, people that are good actors and singers that wanted to get a job on Broadway come to this place to be waiters. They sing songs, they also have lots of entertainment, and awesome milkshakes. We ordered and then watched all the waiters sing. It was incredible! They even had confetti!
