T Minus 11 Hours...

The day has finally arrived. After months of planning... stressing... dreaming... researching itineraries, transportation and accommodations... cleaning out... selling the cars, all our furniture and just a ridiculous amount of stuff, oh and not to mention our house, it is time to start our journey. Oh Dunwoody, you will surely be missed. Driving away from our beloved home was tough indeed, and even some tears were shed. It was the perfect life that we all loved, and I could not have imagined a better place to call home. So many things to be thankful for - From our wonderful neighborhood community.. to the girls' school and teachers and staff... but most of all, the many special friendships our family had made in just five short years. We've had one week of non-stop activity, prior to our departure. Visiting with family.. catching up with old friends, chatting about our travel plans... consuming an insane amount of delicious home-cooked meals.. playing/ arguing/ chasing/ ...

The Week Before Our Departure

Alot has happened in the last few days in Dunwoody, Jacksonville, and soon ft. Lauderdale. There has been tears for saying goodbye to family and friends and a million hugs. When we left Dunwoody, we did not go straight to Paris. We went to South Georgia to say bye to our grandpa (that we call LoLo). We visited him for a day and then we went to my Nana’s house and we are staying her for 5 days. Also, our cousins Wesley and Lila came to our Nana’s house so we could see them there too. They stayed her for about 2 and a half days. We had lots of fun with them and we had some amazing cooked meals from my Nana that included shrimp, crawfish, corn, rice, and a lot more. We also had bacon almost every morning. We also had leftover fish and we mixed it with rice. at my Nana’s house we also saw my grandfathers sister, LoLa. We stayed there for about an hour, and then we went swimming. It was so much fun. I have been missing my friends and texting them all day. Let me name them, Lauren, Kale...

The Beginning

After we left our house we drove to our grandpa's house aka our "Lolo". We stayed there for 1 whole day. After that day we started packing. Sunday night dance partay!! Then we drove to my Grandma's house (our "Nana") and that  took about 5 hours. When we were there we saw our cousins, Wesley and Lailah. So we played with them for a little bit. Then we went to my Nana's restaurant called Istanbul Grill. After that we all went to Nana's house and played, visited my mom's aunt's house, went to the pool, and then my Nana cooked for all of us fish, steak, and corn. Also my Dad taught me how to play the piano. After that it was 9:00 or 10:00 so we went to bed. THE END
